We accept volunteers on our farm on a rolling basis, so fill out an application as soon as you know when you're interested in volunteering. Additionally, we are seeking a new kiwi farm manager. If you have experience working on a kiwi farm and are interested in staying for at least one year, please inquire about this paid position.
Application
Required Qualifications:
Must love working outside!
Must pay for transportation to Corfu
Must have an up-to-date tetanus shot
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must commit to at least one month of volunteer time
Helpful (but not required) Qualifications:
We prefer that applicants have worked in agriculture, landscaping, construction, or some related physical labor. We also look for volunteers that know how to drive manual transmission vehicles and have experience with power tools.
Responsibilities:
Kiwi farm volunteers assist our farm manager in caring for our trees, maintaining the watering and wiring systems, instituting general captital improvements around the farm and site of the equestrian center, and a variety of other season/need-specific tasks. New and unexpected projects are always cropping up, so you will need to be versatile.
Hours:
At least 6 hours per day, one day off each week
